Our Founder’s Journey

Tony’s at Brentwood was conceived by Antonio “Tony” Bortone, who hails from the small town of Sassano, Italy. At just 14 years old, Tony immigrated to New York, where he learned the craft of pizza-making firsthand in Italian restaurants and neighborhood pizzerias. Those early years shaped his deep respect for tradition, technique, and honest food.
From Music to the Kitchen

From Music to the Kitchen

Tony’s passion for food was matched by his love of music, leading him to serve proudly in the U.S. Army Band. After retiring from the Army in 2011, Tony returned to his culinary roots—opening a restaurant that reflects both his heritage and heart. Tony’s at Brentwood was born to serve authentic pizza and family-favorite Italian dishes, made with care and offered at a price meant to welcome everyone.

More than a restaurant, Tony’s is a local gathering place. We’re proud to serve the Stockbridge community with food that feels familiar, satisfying, and made to share.
